🔬 Research & Technical Validation
IndiaWelds has conducted extensive research in collaboration with the Department of Earthquake Engineering (DEQ), IIT Roorkee, to evaluate the feasibility and performance of stainless steel in heavy structural applications.
This work led to the development of India’s first dedicated manual on welding of stainless steel for heavy fabrication, capturing critical metallurgical and process nuances essential for structural integrity, durability, and compliance with codes and standards.

To institutionalise stainless steel fabrication skills nationally, IndiaWelds developed the Qualification Pack for Stainless Steel Heavy Fabrication for the Indian Iron and Steel Sector Skill Council (IISSSC).
